To set the IP address of the Intel PRO⁄1000 MT

card:

1 Click the Start menu.

2 Right-click My Network Places, and choose

Properties.

3 In the Network Connections window, right-

click the item that represents the Ethernet port

that is physically connected to the Ethernet ca-

ble, and choose Properties.

4 In the Connections Properties dialog, select

the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) option (you may

have to scroll down), and click Properties.

5 In the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties

dialog, select Use the Following IP Address.

6 Type the following information:

•IP Address

•Subnet Mask

•Default Gateway
