Migrating an Interplay Transfer Server

This is the path used on a Windows XP Transfer Engine system.

3. Right-click the FTP folder and select Export. Export the file to the Desktop and give it a

recognizable name such as FTP-regedit-export.reg.

4. Copy the file to the AS3000 Interplay Transfer system.

5. Log onto the AS3000 system and start Regedit.

This assumes that you have already installed Interplay Transfer on the AS3000.

6. Navigate to the following folder on the AS3000:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > Wow6432Node > Avid Technology > FTP

Notice that on the Windows 7 system, an additional “Wow6432Node” level is added to

the path. This identifies a 32-bit application running on the Windows 7 64-bit system.

7. Open the exported registry file in Notepad or Wordpad.
